How it works

The heic2any library decodes the HEIC/HEIF container format using WebAssembly and outputs the image as a JPG blob. Multiple files can be converted in a single batch. Each converted file is made available for individual download, or you can download all converted images at once.

Why are my iPhone photos in HEIC format?
Apple introduced HEIC as the default format in iOS 11 because it saves about 50% storage space compared to JPG at equivalent visual quality. You can change your iPhone to save photos as JPG in Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.
Will the converted JPG look the same as the original HEIC?
